Meet Leo's at Almedalen

On Wednesday and Thursday during week 26, Leo’s will be attending Almedalen to highlight children’s physical activity and bring playful perspectives to important societal issues.

We will be interviewing politicians, decision-makers, and other stakeholders about how we can work together to get more children moving. At the same time, they will take on movement challenges created by Leo’s Children’s Panel.

Meet some of the stars from our Children’s Panel – the true experts on being kids! During Almedalen Week, our panel will help set the agenda by posing their own questions and movement challenges to politicians, decision-makers, and other stakeholders. After all, who is better equipped to talk about children’s physical activity than children themselves?

For Children's Health and Physical Activity

At Leo’s, we see every day the positive impact that play and movement have on children’s development. That’s why we’re attending Almedalen to highlight an issue that concerns everyone who cares about children’s future: more and more children are moving too little and developing inadequate motor skills.

During our panel discussion, we will bring together researchers, representatives from the sports movement, and the business community to discuss how we can create more accessible, inclusive, and inspiring environments where children have the opportunity to move, develop, and thrive.

Almedalen Run – Movement for Everyone

ogether with the Swedish Athletics Association, we are encouraging more physical activity through the Almedalen Run! For our youngest participants, a special children’s race will also be organized, and everyone who takes part will receive a surprise from us.
